Jane Pauley was born on October 31, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA as Margaret Jane Pauley. She is an actress, known for The Jane Pauley Show (2004), Today (1952) and Real Life with Jane Pauley (1990). She has been married to Garry Trudeau since June 14, 1980. They have three children.

She had them at age 7, 14, and 21 and has had to use prednisone to control the severe bouts. Jane's father, Richard, was a milk salesman in Bloomington. Her mother, Mary, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer when Jane was only 13. After that, her mother had a series of heart attacks and strokes before her death. Attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana Received honorary doctorate from Trinity College in 1998. She and her sister, Ann Pauley , are best friends.
